Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend and holiday shifts will be scheduled as needed.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for high acuity laboring patients in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit. This role requires the ability to float to the Mother and Baby Unit (MBU), Maternal Assessment Unit (MAU), and OB Surgical Center (OBSC) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and sterile procedures
• Conduct assessments, including fetal heart rate monitoring
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
• Provide education and support to patients and families

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• AWHONN Intermediate certification preferred
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
