Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Every other weekend and holiday coverage will be required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients in a high-acuity setting. The role involves floating to various areas, including MAU, MBU, and OBSC as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to laboring patients and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Utilize therapeutic interventions for effective labor management.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including fetal heart rates and maternal health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Document care accurately using Epic EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Active RN license required at the time of submission.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
• AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
