Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a night shift position, requiring 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and potential holiday scheduling.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for laboring patients in a high-acuity setting. The position requires floating to various units, including MAU, MBU, and OBSC.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures for laboring patients.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and other obstetric procedures.
• Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and respond to abnormalities.
• Provide support and education to patients and families during labor and delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV, respiratory, and pharmacy services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
• Active RN license required at the time of submission.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
• AWHONN Intermediate certification is preferred.
• EPIC charting system experience is required.
