PCU RN for Float Pool - Day Shift

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced PCU RN for our Float Pool. This position requires the nurse to float to all PCU/IMCU floors, primarily serving a cardiac population. The nurse will handle a wide range of cardiac cases including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P, and will be administering cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in the PCU/IMCU environments.
• Float between various PCU/IMCU floors and manage workload effectively.
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications and drips per protocol.
• Handle telemetry beds with lower acuity as needed.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar sized facility.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Current RN license.
