Registered Nurse - Mixed Unit PCU, Med Surg/Telemetry

This is a night shift position, following a 4x12 hour schedule from 18:30 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care in a mixed unit setting, including Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Telemetry. The RN will float within their service line and scope of practice as necessary and will be responsible for managing patient care, administering medications, and utilizing telemetry systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed unit setting including PCU, Med Surg, and Telemetry.
• Utilize telemetry for patient monitoring and assessment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for effects.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for optimal patient care.
• Attend to the physical and emotional needs of patients.
• Float within service line when required, following scope of practice.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Michigan RN license in hand.
• Minimum of 1-year acute care experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Telemetry experience required.
