7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Cardiac and Stepdown unit. This specialty care hospital is equipped with a Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, and more, providing a wide range of services. You will be essential in delivering high-quality care to patients across various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for cardiac patients in a telemetry environment.
• Monitor and assess patients, including those with chest tubes and cardiac drips.
• Manage patient care before and after surgical procedures, including open heart surgery.
• Work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• At least 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown environment.
• Experience managing cardiac populations and telemetry monitoring is essential.
