7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our Cardiac and Stepdown Unit. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing cardiac patient populations and providing outstanding care in a telemetry environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients.
• Monitor vital signs and manage telemetry equipment for patient assessment.
• Administer medications and assist in the management of cardiac drips.
• Perform nursing duties in accordance with established protocols and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown environment.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring and care for chest tubes, open heart surgery, and pacemakers preferred.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
