Stepdown Unit RN - Night/Day Shifts

Nights: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) / Days: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position may require floating to other units for the same patient population. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Stepdown unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions by taking vitals and other medical assessments.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 18 months of combined permanent experience in stepdown nursing.
• Must possess a permanent Ohio RN license or an active compact state license.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
• Recent stepdown or progressive care experience preferred.
