Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 3x12 Hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend is mandatory.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic nursing team for night shifts. This position is essential for providing high-quality telemetry and medical-surgical nursing care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients using bedside telemetry, including the interpretation of dysrhythmias.
• Provide general nursing care in a medical-surgical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry nursing.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license required prior to start.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias is necessary.
