Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend requirement: every other weekend.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit will provide care for hospitalized patients aged 65 and older, focusing on preserving cognitive and physical function. The unit has 26 beds and offers telemetry-capable care.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry-capable care to elderly patients.
• Administer medications, including blood products and IV therapies.
• Conduct dysrhythmia interpretation and remote telemetry monitoring.
• Manage central/peripheral/PICC lines in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient mobility and recovery.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing.
• Proficient in geriatric-focused care and telemetry-capable environments.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active South Carolina or multi-state RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
