Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our high-risk Level 3 Perinatal Center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maternal and newborn care, with experience in high-acuity situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to childbearing women and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Support labor and delivery for high-risk patients, including assistance with cesarean sections and high-risk deliveries.
• Monitor patients using advanced technology, including EFM and OBIX systems.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Experience with high-risk obstetrics is preferred.
