Labor and Delivery RN - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), including some weekend shifts.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery RN will provide care in a fast-paced acute care setting, managing both high-risk and low-risk laboring patients. Responsibilities include active management of laboring patients, administration of medications, and responding to maternal emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage laboring patients including inductions and augmentations.
• Provide care for antepartum and postpartum patients.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and maternal emergencies.
• Perform assessments and document in the Epic charting system.
• Float between different units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current RN license (Compact license preferred).
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, FHM, NRPS.
• Experience with high-risk patient care including pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and VBAC/TOLAC.
