Registered Nurse (RN) - Long-Term Care (LTC)

Schedule

This position requires full-time availability with variable shifts in the Day/Evening schedule. Every other weekend and holidays are required.

Job Description

The RN will provide skilled nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. This includes ensuring the delivery of age-appropriate care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet each patient's unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assess data pertinent to the resident's physical and psychosocial condition.
• Develop, implement, and revise resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure safety and satisfaction within the care environment and actively communicate with residents and families.
• Maintain current knowledge and clinical expertise through continuous education.
• Provide leadership within the nursing practice setting and participate in the mentoring of new staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NY RN Licensure
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care facility

This is a 13-week contract position.
