Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CST) - Contract Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

4 10-hour shifts per week, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On call one week night per week and one weekend per month.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our dynamic surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess cardiovascular experience and be prepared to handle on-call responsibilities as required. Join us in delivering high-quality care to our cardiovascular patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures including CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, and more.
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain standards of safety and professionalism in the surgical environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid CST certification is required.
• Experience in cardiovascular surgery (CVOR) is mandatory.
• Ability to handle on-call responsibilities.
• Demonstrated flexibility and teamwork-oriented approach.
