Seasonal Contract RN - Labor and Delivery

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no on-call requirements. Four weekend shifts are scheduled per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at a Level 4 designated maternal center. This unit specializes in caring for the most complex maternal patients at any gestation, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for high-risk maternal patients.
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean section deliveries.
• Perform tubal ligations, cerclage placements and removals, and D&C procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage EMR systems, including CPN and Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, specifically with high-risk maternal patients.
• Knowledge and experience with circulating in the operating room and triage.
