Schedule

Night shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend work is required. Float to Postpartum is expected.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide high-quality care in a Level III perinatal care setting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in labor, delivery, and postpartum care. The Pacific Campus includes comprehensive maternity services and a Level II NICU for providing outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a high-risk perinatal environment, assisting with labor and delivery processes.
• Monitor and assess patients during labor using appropriate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including epidurals and antihypertensives.
• Assist in both vaginal and cesarean deliveries, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Provide education and support to new parents regarding postpartum care and breastfeeding.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including surgical techs, CNAs, and health unit coordinators.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 2 years of experience in labor and delivery required.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring.
