07:00 - 19:00, with the requirement to work all shifts; Days, Nights, and Mids.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Neuro Med Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in neuro care and be capable of delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and neurological status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Experience/Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years of experience in acute care or neuro med surg preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale and Swallow Screen certifications preferred.
• Must be competent in dysrhythmia and pass a dysrhythmia and math dosage test.
