Registered Nurse - 12 Hour Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour shifts including rotating day and night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in a dynamic environment, adapting to the needs of the department while ensuring quality standards are met. The role includes rotating shifts, maintaining patient comfort, and administering medications as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients based on their unique needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document care activities accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on aftercare and treatment plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license required.
• Experience in a clinical environment preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with exceptions for medical or religious declinations.
