Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care, with experience in pediatric nursing. This position offers a dynamic work environment serving a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage acute conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, and respiratory failure.
• Utilize specialty equipment like Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal care.
• Float as required across various departments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing, with pediatric experience preferred.
• Valid and active New York Registered Nurse license.
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
• Completion of a skills checklist matching the specialty.
• Driver's license with an address matching demographics.
• NURSYS report license verification must be provided.
