Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Job Description

The physical therapist works with patients and clients who have impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. The physical therapist evaluates and treats patients utilizing the parameters established by The Guide to Physical Therapy Practice and the Colorado State Practice Act, within the parameters of the patient's insurance. The goal of the physical therapist is to alleviate discomfort and restore function, while providing education on prevention and wellness issues.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical impairments and functional limitations.
• Utilize the parameters established by The Guide to Physical Therapy Practice.
• Provide education on prevention and wellness issues to patients and clients.
• Work within the parameters of the patient's insurance coverage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Colorado State license.
• Maintenance of current CPR certification is required.
• Experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred, though new graduates and specialists that meet business needs will be considered.

This position operates on a day shift schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
