Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our outpatient therapy team. The ideal candidate will evaluate assigned patients, develop and implement treatment plans based on individual needs and goals, and ensure effective delivery of therapy services. This role involves educating patients, families, and coworkers, while adhering to the highest professional standards and compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Develop treatment plans and goals to progress patients towards discharge.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in student supervision and provide learning objectives.
• Create individualized professional development plans.
• Maintain professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum 6 months of outpatient clinical experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Desire for 6 months of additional experience is highly preferred.

Schedule

This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule, with evaluations taking 60 minutes followed by follow-up sessions every 30 minutes.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
