Job Description

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and provides treatment upon referral of a physician. This role involves treating patients with disabilities, disorders, and injuries to relieve pain and develop, restore, or maintain physical function through various therapeutic techniques including exercise, massage, heat, cold, air, light, water, electricity, or sound. The Physical Therapist collaborates with family and health team members regarding patient abilities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapies and interventions aimed at improving patient function.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and rehabilitation goals.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor of Science or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Oregon State Board of Health.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license.
• Previous experience is desired but not strictly necessary if other requirements are met.
