Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:30 - 18:00), Monday to Friday.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing comprehensive treatment plans to facilitate recovery and enhance functional abilities. This role emphasizes outpatient hand therapy, particularly for patients recovering from post-operative hand surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations to assess functional capabilities and therapy needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement treatment plans.
• Utilize appropriate therapies and techniques for hand rehabilitation, including splinting.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and home care techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice in the state of Oregon or license-eligible status.
• Experience in outpatient hand therapy and post-op hand surgeries is required.
• Certification as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
