Night shift, 3-12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in the PCU/Stepdown unit, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients transitioning from critical care. This role requires expertise in monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown nursing experience.
• Active Ohio nursing license or active compact state license required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications necessary.
• Reference from a managerial role in the specialty required.
