PCU RN - Night Shift 3x12 Hours

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), weekdays, every other weekend, float if necessary.

Job Description

Looking for a dedicated PCU RN with expertise in cardiac telemetry to provide exceptional patient care in a 15-bed intermediate care unit. The unit focuses on priority transfers from the ICU requiring close cardiac monitoring and intermediate-level care, specifically post-surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data.
• Administer critical medications and manage respiratory ventilation.
• Provide care for post-TAVR, post-CEA, and post-femoral popliteal bypass patients.
• Manage invasive line monitoring, including arterial and central venous pressures.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and respond to emergent situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of PCU RN experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• WV or Compact RN License required (pending licenses may be accepted).
• Experience with telemetry, invasive line management, and post-cardiac surgery care.
