Job Description

The registered nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients on a Med/Surg unit. The unit has 14-22 beds, with staffing levels varying based on acuity and census. Collaboration and support among the nursing team is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical procedures including cleft palate repair, appendectomies, chest tube management, and lumbar punctures.
• Manage seizure cases and assist in noninvasive cardiology.
• Provide quality patient care in accordance with unit protocols and best practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
