Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care

Job Description

This is a challenging and fulfilling opportunity for a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) specializing in Pediatric care. The successful candidate will work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with pediatric patients. There may be floating required to various NICU facilities. This position demands a high level of expertise and experience in caring for critically ill children.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings.
• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as prescribed by the medical team.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Ohio RRT license required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric care, particularly in PICU and NICU settings.
• Current certifications in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS are mandatory.
• Experience with high-level care (level 4) for pediatric patients is essential.

Schedule

This position offers a 3x12-hour shift schedule (07:00 - 19:30), with opportunities to work 4x12-hour shifts as well.
