Registered Nurse (RN) - Variable Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, plans and implements patient and family education, and is responsible for assessing patient needs and initiating appropriate interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation (Assessment).
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis).
• Identify expected outcomes for an individualized plan to meet patient needs.
• Develop and implement a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Promote health and maintain a safe environment for patients.
• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through continuous learning.
• Evaluate nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Integrate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
• Provide leadership within the professional practice setting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited School of Nursing or an Associate degree in Nursing.
• Current Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum of 18 months of Registered Nurse experience.

Schedule

This is a variable day shift position with call requirements.
