Schedule

DAYS - 8HR: Monday - Friday 8a - 4:30p. 40 hours per week. No weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to provide exceptional care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The successful candidate will support coverage at any of our three Radiation Oncology sites based on operational needs. Responsibilities include operating radiation therapy equipment, administering radiation treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the oncologist.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatment sessions.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
• Document patient treatments and progress accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience.
• Active and Clear NY License.
• AHA BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Certifications

• Experience with Varian equipment and ARIA.
