Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in remote monitoring and patient care management, particularly with stroke and neuro patients. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to float between multiple facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform patient assessments in a fast-paced telemetry environment.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings, responding promptly to any changes.
• Manage feeding tubes, ports, and IV lines according to best practices.
• Provide wound care and isolation precautions as necessary.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a telemetry or similar setting.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system.
• Telemetry monitoring experience required, with preference for on-unit monitoring.
