Job Description

Join a Level 1 trauma center's Multi Trauma Unit specializing in a highly acute patient population. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced RNs who thrive in challenging environments and enjoy working as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient load of 1:4, charge nurse free of patients
• Provide care for trauma patients, including those requiring chest tubes and tracheostomy care
• Utilize advanced equipment such as vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and wound vacs
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech/CPN

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Preferred: Prior Meditech experience
