Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity progressive/intermediate care unit specializing in cardiac care. The RN will work closely with a dynamic team to provide exceptional patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac patients, including post-cath and post-operative care.
• Monitor patients closely to assess their condition and respond to changes effectively.
• Administer medications and manage IV drips as required.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech EMR.
• Perform various procedures, including chest tube management and EKGs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care PCU hospital experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in chest tube management, EKG interpretation, and drip management preferred.
