Certified Surgical Technologist - Main OR

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 23:00 – 07:30, 5 × 7.5 hr shifts per week. Must be available for alternate weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist will work in a multi-specialty Operating Room, supporting adult and pediatric surgical procedures. This role requires experience in trauma cases, with responsibilities including scrubbing and circulating as needed. The surgical tech will float to co-perioperative ambulatory surgical ORs when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various surgical procedures across multiple specialties.
• Perform scrubbing and circulating duties in the Operating Room.
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Float to ambulatory surgical ORs as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (AST or NCCT).
• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro Surgery, Robotics, and Vascular cases.
