Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

36 or 48 hours/week, rotating day/evening/night shifts, including floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, and callback duties.

Job Description

Join our fast-paced Adult Emergency Department (ED), a state-of-the-art facility that handles over 100,000 visits per year. This is one of the busiest trauma centers in the country and the only Level I trauma hospital in the area. You will be responsible for treating a diverse patient population and assisting with boarder patients. Please note that we do not support first-time travelers in the Emergency Room.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced emergency department.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assistance with boarder patients and support high-volume patient flow.
• Adhere to protocols regarding ED treatment and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License for New York (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Previous travel ER experience is a must
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification required
