Registered Nurse - Adolescent Mental Health

Schedule

Evenings - 8 hour shifts, 32-40 hours per week, including every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide care in an adolescent mental health unit. This position requires experience in handling various mental health and behavioral disorders as well as substance abuse treatment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adolescents dealing with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Implement treatment plans developed in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in child and adolescent mental health.
• Active RN license required.
