Registered Nurse - Child & Adolescent Inpatient Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Evenings, 8-hour shifts from 3 PM to 11:30 PM; 32-40 hours per week; required to work every other weekend.

Job Description

This position requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care in an acute inpatient hospital setting, specializing in the treatment of adolescents. The role involves working with patients aged 5 through geriatric, focusing on mental health and behavioral disorders as well as substance abuse and addictions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on the child and adolescent units.
• Monitor patient progress and provide interventions as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a similar acute inpatient setting is required.
• Current and valid RN license.
