ICU Registered Nurse

Night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. Block scheduling is not guaranteed.

Job Description

The ICU unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ICU specialties, including Trauma, Neuro, and Cardiothoracic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely responses to changes.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as CRRT and Prismaflex.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Floating to all units except Behavioral and ER may be required as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with 4-5 years preferred.
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Current RN licensure in New York and all active licenses.
• Skills checklist that matches ICU specialty is required.
• Up-to-date resume reflecting travel experience and prior employment.
