Job Description
The ideal candidate will provide care for patients in the intensive care unit, specifically those with trauma, surgical, and neurological conditions. This role requires expertise in handling high-acuity patients and participating in critical care procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment.
- Administer medications and perform procedures per protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create care plans.
- Document all patient interactions and care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of staff experience in an ICU setting.
- Experience with trauma level one, surgical, and neurological ICU patients.
- Previous travel nursing experience is required.
Certifications/Licensure
Must possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.
