Physical Therapist - Outpatient Care

Day shift with varied start times. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts).

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. The therapist will focus on orthopedic, general medical/surgical, and neurological diagnoses. Responsibilities include the assessment and treatment of patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and assessments of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in providing comprehensive care.
• Utilize specialty services including concussion management, vestibular therapy, lymphedema therapy, pelvic control therapy, and dry needling as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy, particularly with orthopedic, surgical, and neurological patients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC.
