Registered Nurse - Vascular Interventional Radiology

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts include 4x10-hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM and 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, with rotating weekend call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Vascular Interventional Radiology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing experience, along with expertise in moderate sedation.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Vascular Interventional Radiology setting.
• Assist in interventional procedures while circulating and ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain and monitor moderate sedation protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Participate in on-call rotations for weekends and holidays.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a critical care or procedural nursing role.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License.
• Experience in pediatric/adult vascular IR is highly preferred.
• Radiation badge provided by agency is required; not provided by the facility.
