Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position with a day shift schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures in the interventional radiology department, primarily focusing on general interventional radiology cases. The technologist will assist with procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, while maintaining a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide patients for interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure proper infection control standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols regarding radiation exposure.
• Document procedure details accurately in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• National certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), SCQRSAS required.
• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency.
