This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) rotation.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced LPN to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess acute care experience and be capable of taking their own patient assignments with the support of an RN. This role requires familiarity with charting systems, specifically EPIC, along with various clinical skills in a complex care setting.

Responsibilities

• Take own patient assignment with RN support.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines, peripheral lines, and phlebotomy.
• Manage IVs, high flow nasal cannula, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, and feeding tubes.
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as necessary.
• Monitor telemetry and manage surgical drains.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and wound care protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active New York Single State LPN license (NY is not Compact).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
