Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Options for 36 and 48 hours per week available, with 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend.

Job Description

Join our team in a 43-bed Cardiac Med/Tele unit where you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care for patients with cardiac and telemetry needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and telemetry data.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support patient education and engagement in their care process.
• Be flexible to float to other units as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute med surg/tele nursing required.
• 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active NY RN license is required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
