Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute hospital nursing and be prepared to float within their scope of practice at the discretion of unit leaders.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical environment.
• Coordinate and oversee patient care plans and medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Perform assessments and interventions based on patient needs.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• New York State Nursing License (required at time of submission).
• Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital nursing experience.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Ability to float as needed, with a patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 during nights.
• Flu vaccination required, with exemptions considered.
