Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse for the CV PreOp unit to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires excellent critical thinking abilities and a commitment to efficiency and safety for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and perform large-bore IV starts.
• Conduct skin assessments and assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements.
• Transport patients to the operating room and assist with induction/intubation and positioning.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have critical care experience; PreOp experience is a plus.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interdepartmental collaboration.
