Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit. The facility is a 225-bed specialty care hospital that provides comprehensive healthcare services. The registered nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients across all ages, including children and adults, with a focus on trauma and postoperative care in orthopedic and neurological cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in Neuro, Ortho, and Pediatric units.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for candidates with pediatric experience.
• Current RN license in the state of Michigan.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
