Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Full-time night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in a clinical or hospitalized setting. The nurse will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills while working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient status and document findings in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality care.
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records.
• Must have a permanent address 50+ miles from the facility.
