This position offers a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.
Job Description
The House Supervisor will promote and restore patients' health by managing the patient care area and directing staff. This role collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams while providing both physical and psychological support for patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement day-to-day management and long-term planning for patient care.
- Direct and develop nursing staff; including selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Contribute to nursing operational standards and strategic planning.
- Monitor expenditures and maintain financial standards within the nursing department.
- Establish rapport with patients to identify their service requirements.
- Maintain nursing guidelines by updating policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with standards of care and state nursing regulations.
- Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families.
- Develop patient care goals and reinforce understanding of self-care skills.
- Maintain a safe working environment through the implementation of health protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications (must be attached to submission).
- Must have a valid RN license in Wyoming or a multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume).
- At least 2 years of House Supervisor experience in a hospital setting.
