Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby

This position is for Night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00. Must be able to work weekends.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in this position will provide care in Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby units, assisting with antepartum and postpartum care, laboring patients, and newborn assessments. Proficiency with EMR documentation, preferably Meditech, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vaginal deliveries as well as Cesarean sections.
• Provide couplet care to mothers and their newborns.
• Perform APGAR scoring and monitor newborn conditions.
• Maintain patient care standards in LDRP and nursery settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico or Multi-State RN Licensure.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate.
• Labor & Delivery and Mother-Baby experience required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
