Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans in accordance with their needs, goals, and physician direction. This role includes delegation and direction of therapy services, ensuring effective treatment program design for community reintegration, and acting as an educator for patients, families, and colleagues. Adherence to the organizational Mission Statement, Core Values, and compliance with the Code of Conduct and safety expectations is imperative.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Participate in the supervision and development of students assigned to the program.
• Engage in professional development and continuing education to advance skills and maintain licensure.
• Follow organizational performance improvement methodologies to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Schedule

This is a 5x8.0 schedule with the possibility of immediate start.
